She began her career as an Articled Clerk at Jagannathan & Sarabeswaran, Chartered Accountants, gaining hands-on experience in statutory audits and financial reporting. She later joined Xpitax (acquired by Wolters Kluwer) as a Manager, where she spent a decade leading teams in U.S. bookkeeping, tax preparation, and quality reviews for CPA firms and their clients.
As co-Managing Partner, Sharmila combines her audit expertise and leadership skills to deliver high-impact accounting solutions for MoneyPenny’s clients. She is passionate about building agile, client-focused teams and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced industry. “

Nirmala is a detail-oriented finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting, taxation, and financial operations. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from D.R.B.C.C. College, Chennai, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Her career began at K.M. Sundaram Associates in Chennai, followed by a role at E-Serve International, where she gained early exposure to financial services operations. She then joined Xpitax (later acquired by Wolters Kluwer) as a Tax Associate and rose to Deputy Manager, leading teams responsible for U.S. bookkeeping and tax return preparation.
As co-Managing Partner, Nirmala combines her expertise in audit, tax, and operations to deliver tailored financial solutions. She is passionate about building high-performing teams, streamlining processes, and driving measurable outcomes for clients in a dynamic business environment. “

Megan lives in Houston and enjoys spending time with her family. She works with our clients in developing processes and creating use cases for KPI reporting. She also liaisons with the Chennai team for communications, training and procedure development.
