Your Role: Director of Customer Success

Years in Accounting & Years at MoneyPenny: 19 years in accounting & over 3 years with MoneyPenny.

Favorite App & Why: My favorite app is Claude. I use it to pull together multiple documents at once — statements, reports, transcripts — and surface patterns or problems I might not catch working through them one at a time. It’s less about automation and more about having a thinking partner that can hold a lot of context and help me work through complex issues quickly.

A Strength You Bring to the Team: The perspective I bring is pretty rare — I was actually a client of MoneyPenny before joining the team, so I’ve sat on both sides of the table. Combined with 19 years of accounting experience, I understand not just the technical side of what we deliver, but what it feels like to be on the receiving end of it. In my role as Director of Customer Success, that dual perspective shapes how I approach client relationships, anticipate friction points, and advocate for solutions that actually work in practice.

What You Enjoy About Working with MoneyPenny Clients: What I enjoy most is the people and the problems. I get to work alongside some of the most empowering, sharp, and talented women I’ve ever met — and the culture they’ve built here is something I genuinely didn’t know existed until I experienced it firsthand. On top of that, I’m doing work I actually love: solving complex problems and being the person clients can count on. Customer success isn’t just my job title — it’s where I thrive.

What’s Something You’ve Learned Working at MoneyPenny?  MoneyPenny has honestly changed me — both professionally and personally. I’ve grown into a sharper, more confident accounting professional, but more than that, I’ve found my voice. I came out of my shell and became someone who goes after what she wants. Working closely with our team in India also opened my eyes to a rich culture I knew very little about before, and that’s been unexpectedly meaningful. And being part of a women-run accounting firm? That’s shown me just how powerful that kind of leadership really is.

A Work Moment or Project You’re Proud Of? There’s one client I’ve worked with for most of my time at MoneyPenny that I consider my baby. Early on, I helped build out a commission reporting process that gave them real visibility into managing their sales team — and it’s become something they rely on. What makes me most proud isn’t just the work itself, but the fact that even as their staff has turned over again and again, they always come back to me. I know that company inside and out, and that kind of trust is something you can’t manufacture.

Outside of Work, I Enjoy: Outside of work, my kids are my whole heart. Between cheering them on at volleyball and water polo, my schedule stays pretty full — but I carve out time for the things that recharge me: reading, diamond art, and tending to my garden. My plant babies are thriving and I’m very proud of that.

Something Most Colleagues Don’t Know About Me: Most people would never guess I’m a hardcore introvert. I’ve learned when to flip the switch and bring the energy when it’s needed — but given the choice, I’m happily recharging in my own space. And if you’re ever deciding whether to call or text me, always text. I will pick that option every single time.

Currently on My Playlist, Bookshelf, or Watchlist: My playlist is full of Alex Warren, Dean Lewis, and Ed Sheeran — emotional, storytelling music that hits every time. And my bookshelf? A solid mix of self-help books and Accounting for Dummies — which honestly says everything about me.

Finish This Sentence: “You’d never guess, but I once…  You’d never guess, but once I was a full-on band nerd — and I owned it. I played clarinet, held first chair, and walked away with multiple awards for solos and duets.
